So, we had a little time away, and got to enjoy the fireplace in our room, a real nice touch for the cold evenings. The staff was genuinely friendly, helped us out with local tips, which made wandering around way less daunting.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still acceptable for the experience we had.

Had a great time staying with friends! We played a round of golf at both the Alisal and La Purisima Golf Courses, which was a blast. The location was super convenient for us to explore nearby attractions and grab some food. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay that much better!

We did encounter some issues with the outdated elevator, which felt pretty scary at times. It was something we wished was in better shape.

The family suite boasts spacious accommodations with two bedrooms, a lounge area, and a kitchenette that provides ample storage space. Despite its dated appearance, the charm of the suite and cleanliness combined with a comfortable bed ensured a pleasant night's sleep.

The rug in the room appears quite worn, with some stains that could use attention. Additionally, light seeped through the curtains, making it hard to achieve complete darkness while sleeping. The shower area felt cramped, and an old bag of food found inside the microwave was rather concerning. Lastly, the lack of complimentary breakfast options was disappointing, as only a few danishes were available upon checkout without any indication they were meant for guests.

However, breakfast options were limited, lacking variety, and I would have appreciated a fitness center. The Best Value Inn provided an excellent location for exploring Solvang. My room was spacious, featuring comfortable bedding and a lovely view of the hills. The staff was friendly and accommodating, assisting me promptly with any requests such as extra towels. The breakfast offered a decent selection including pastries and yogurt. Overall, it made for a convenient and pleasant stay.

The TV had loose connections, and the fireplace couldn't be used after turning it off.

I enjoyed the location of this hotel. It’s close to all the shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore Solvang. My king room was spacious with a nice balcony view that I loved waking up to. The pool was well-maintained and a refreshing spot to relax. However, the air conditioning barely worked, and the bed was pretty uncomfortable, leading to a restless night. The towels could have been better quality too. they felt worn out. Overall, the place just needs some upgrades to improve the comfort level.
